I decided to create this blog while I was lying in bed one Saturday morning, delaying a studying session and musing about why things have been so dull lately. I am experiencing malcontent in my life. I feel as though I haven't been searching for Godly satisfaction with myself, but rather have been chasing after security and warmth in life. But where can I find this without my Lord?

I had to get my thoughts organized. I had to let out these pent up frustrations... And I wanted to do it without fear of being judged or sounding to my friends as though I were throwing a pity party. So, I am here, as anonymously as possible (yes, emilysandlin is my real name... details, details), to throw caution to the wind and tell the whole world about my "feelings." I absolutely welcome commentary, well-wishes, prayers, advice, etc. and hope to receive warm encouragement from my readers, should you even be reading.
